Princess Pantha appeared in Thrilling Comics published by Standard Comics in 1946 with her first appearance is issue 56. She lasted as a back up story until issue 74. Princess Pantha was a circus animal trainer. Her hapless friend, an author Dane Hunter, is as useless as most males paired with a dominant Jungle girl (who says that the Good Girl genre is sexist). Dale carried a revolver and Pantha was a Ju-jitsu expert as well. Great Schomburg covers make this another difficult find item. To my knowledge, they have never been reprinted. There is a new Pantha jungle girl series out. I have not read any of these but have seen scans and they don't seem to have anything in common with this series. Perhaps a fan of the new series can fill me in.
